I aim to understand earthquake processes, Earth deformation, strong ground motion, and their implications for society through an integrated approach that combines geodesy, seismology, and geotechnical engineering. I work on both basic and applied geoscience topics, including earthquake deformation, seismic/aseismic slip modes, seismic wave modeling, site characterization, and seismic hazard assessment for risk analysis.
